The Bogani brand is part of RECAPS

RECAPS – Sociedade de Recolha e Reciclagem de Cápsulas de Café, of which NewCoffee is a part, was formally established today, under the Bogani brand.

In an unprecedented initiative, the Industrial and Commercial Coffee Association (AICC) and six associated companies representing 14 brands of coffee capsules, came together to implement a simple and comprehensive system for collecting and recycling coffee capsules, which leads to recycling in door of residents/consumers.

Today the Alliance created 5 years ago was formalized with the creation of RECAPs – Coffee Capsule Collection and Recycling Society.

Since the beginning of this project, 15 municipalities have already joined, and it is expected in 2025 that another 20 will join this system.
